Chaayos Facial Recognition: Technical Feat, Privacy wise?

Chaayos has been doing facial recognition in its store for some time and while it is a good technical achievement (putting a new age tech to practical use-case), there is no word from the company on privacy and what is it doing with your facial biometric data.

Tech vs. Privacy: Are there a few takers ? What about (Bangalore) airport facial scans? People are happy with a seamless experience, but where do we draw the line?

I wouldn’t show my face for scanning in places like Chaayos.
Am also wary about them implementing it in the airports. Apart from privacy issues, my other grouse is that stuff like fingerprint scanning / facial recognition can be activated when I am not conscious. If I have to input a password or unlock grid then I need to be conscious to do it.
